It’s really sad that every time I talk about the problems in Enugu State, as someone who went to school in Enugu, married Enugu Indigene, runs businesses in Enugu, and pays taxes in Enugu, some people tell me, “You’re not from here. Or remind me of the state i came from.
So now, if someone is not from a state by birth, they can’t speak up even if they have real businesses, pay taxes, and help the economy? Meanwhile, many of the people saying these things don’t run any business and only speak because they get small money from the government.
Let me be clear, I live here. I work here. I pay tax here. I have every right to speak. And I will keep speaking, no matter who gets angry.
