Barr. Emeka Abah, a renowned legal expert, has been making waves in politics with his exceptional leadership skills. His involvement with the Labour Party yielded impressive results in the 2023 elections, where the party won all seats. This feat demonstrates his capacity for grassroots politics and positions him as a strong contender for future elections.
A Promising Political Career
Barr. Abah's political journey began with a commendable performance in the 2012 House of Assembly election, where he was overwhelmingly voted in. Unfortunately, flaws in the electoral law prevented him from being declared the winner. Undeterred, he continues to work towards making a positive impact in his community.
Aligning with Renewed Hope
In preparation for the 2027 elections, Barr. Abah has decided to join forces with President Bola Tinubu's administration, citing the administration's benevolence towards the people of Enugu North. He believes that the party can be compensated with block votes from the region.
Appreciating Tinubu's Achievements
At a recent APC caucus meeting in Enugu North, Barr. Abah highlighted the administration's achievements, including the appointment of prominent sons from Enugu North to sensitive positions. These appointments include:
- Chief of Naval Staff from Igbo Eze North
- UNN VC from Igbo Etiti
- Hon. Eugene Odo as a member of the UNN governing council
Infrastructure Development
Barr. Abah also commended the administration's infrastructure development projects, such as:
- The 9th mile - Obollo Afor - Markurdi expressway (A3 super highway), which has catalyzed economic growth in Obollo Afor
- The world-class Naval secondary school project in Umuopu, Igbo Eze North
- The establishment of a Naval base in Uzo Uwani, a first of its kind in Enugu North
Call to Action
As the leader of UDENU APC, Barr. Abah urged the people of Enugu North to embrace the party and mobilize widely for APC at the grassroots level. With his leadership skills and the party's achievements, there is hope for a brighter future for the region.
